Four steps, no shortcuts
Each batch is small enough to pour by hand. It takes about three weeks from blending to your door.

Blend
Fragrance oils are weighed to a 9% load and folded into a coconut-soy wax at 85 °C, where the scent binds best.

Pour
We pour at 60 °C into warmed frosted glass around a centred cotton wick, so the top sets smooth.

Cure
Candles rest for 14 days. Curing lets the wax and fragrance settle, which gives a fuller scent throw when lit.

Finish
Wicks are trimmed to 5 mm, oak lids fitted and tags tied by hand before each candle is packed.
Four numbers for a longer burn
Follow these and your candle will burn evenly to the last centimetre.
First burn
Let the melt pool reach the glass edge the first time you light it. This stops the wax tunnelling.
Trim the wick
Trim before every burn. A short wick gives a calm flame and a clean glass.
Longest burn
Blow it out after four hours and let it cool for at least two before relighting.
Stop here
Stop burning with 1 cm of wax left, then bring the jar back for a refill.
